Every day

The Mere is still a featherweight, just not a vow of discomfort. A low glass screen, a proper hood, and a cabin you can step into without a ceremony. It is the car you take because the lane is there, not because the calendar said so.

Weather

Derbyshire does not negotiate with an open cockpit. The Mere accepts rain, keeps the Lark’s sill and wheel, and refuses the rest of the equipment list. If a part does not change the drive home, it does not ship.

Ride

Double wishbones, dampers tuned on the lanes outside the yard, and less mass to settle when the surface breaks. Instant torque, then a car that gets out of its own way. Comfort here is control, not isolation.

The Fifty-Year Accord

Same promise as the Lark. Serviceable panels, drawings that stay on file, and software you can decline. A Mere is built to be owned — driven, repaired, and kept — rather than subscribed to.

Also

The Lark.

Driving in its bare form. No roof, no menu, no part that cannot argue for its weight. One hundred and twenty, numbered at Compton Works.
